Wipe the evidence from my mind...

Shed the scarred tissues ,

that were etched in with time ...

Let them no more burden my heart ...

Can the tears that fall from my eyes

heal what I feel inside???

I can never get justice ,

from the years passed ...

But they can still get the better of me...
